Matthew D. Walton
Managing Broker/Owner

My business philosophy is simple: work hard for my clients and remain readily available. I pride myself on an honest, knowledgeable, and diligent approach that consistently delivers results. I focus on patiently guiding and educating my clients so they can feel confident and well-informed about the market before buying or selling.
This method has led to high customer satisfaction and a strong referral base. I have over 25 years of experience representing buyers and sellers of single-family homes, condominiums, distressed properties, new construction, and multi-unit investment properties. I specialize in the Logan Square, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Ukrainian Village, Lakeview & Lincoln Park neighborhoods, and I also have extensive sales experience in the Oak Park and River Forest communities.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Illinois State University and served as a financial trader and member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange from 1994 to 2011.

Rich Moran – Broker

Before deciding to follow his passion for real estate by getting his real estate license, Rich Moran spent twenty years at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He was as a broker in the interest rate quadrant of the trading floor and developed a very good understanding of the world of finance.

Rich earned a B.A. in economics from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a native New Yorker, but has lived in Chicago for twenty five years. His home is in Wicker Park.

His communication skills, along with his attention to detail, were among the strengths that contributed to his success at the CME. These are the same attributes that have made his transition into real estate so smooth. He has always had a strong desire and ability to understand his clients’ needs and a tact for critical thinking.

Rich has known Matt Walton and has observed his diligence, loyalties and work ethic for some time now. That is why he decided to join forces with Matt at Current Properties and has found it to be a great working relationship.
