Ravenswood is a part of the Lincoln Square Community Area located on the North side of Chicago, Illinois . It's bordered by Foster Avenue to the North, Montrose Avenue to the South, to the West by the Chicago River, and to the East by Ashland Avenue. Ravenswood is known for its courtyard-style residential buildings. Once considered an "up and coming" neighborhood, Ravenswood has seen its real estate values skyrocket since the 1990s, making it one of the highest valued markets in the city. Accessible by both the Brown Line and the Metra, Ravenswood is home to many shops and restaurants.
